Breaking Self-Unlove With God's Love

At times I feel as though I am intentionally put through experiences, whether good or bad, so that I can come and share my learnings with you from a place of raw truth and heartfelt emotion.

I say raw truth and heartfelt emotion because I write this recently coming from a place of back-and-forth with God, understanding that all my trials are character-shaping, building and strengthening but not losing sight of the reality that refining, at times, can be painful. And I've yet to find a person that smiles through pain. 

A Life Led By The Holy Spirit

Living life led by the Holy Spirit is unorthodox. It is contrary to what the world says. When others are staying, it means going. When others are going, it means staying. When others are spending, it means saving, when others are saving, it means spending.
It is listening to the small promptings of the Holy Spirit in our everyday decisions. It is a selfless approach to life - nothing is ever out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. It is all for the glory of God. A life submitted and fully devoted to Him. Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ saith the Lord of hosts.(Zechariah 4:6)

Rest vs Laziness

Are you resting or are you lazy?

Oef! I know, right!? This is a question God asked me, and I want to ask you the same question... But, before we get there, let me share with you what God has been showing me. There is distraction in the air - and it is disguised as ‘rest’. A counterfeit ‘rest’ that does not fill - it sucks life and purpose. People are leaving their post in the name of ‘rest’. In this season, God wants to redefine rest & shift perspectives so that cycles do not continue. So that those cycles do not flow into the new that God has for you. There is a new rest, a God-given rest that He wants us to enter into.
